According to reports, Pony.ai’s Robotaxi model, equipped with its seventh-generation autonomous driving system, features 100% automotive-grade components. The total cost of the autonomous driving suite has been reduced by 70% compared to the previous generation, and it boasts three key highlights in its platform‑based, adaptable design. Moreover, it is the world’s first system solution to achieve L4‑level fully driverless operation across all scenarios, powered by automotive‑grade chips. Currently, leveraging Pony.ai’s PonyWorld global modeling technology platform, its L4‑level Robotaxi fleet has accumulated 500,000 hours of fully driverless operations in all scenarios, under all weather conditions, and without human supervision—demonstrating safety levels ten times higher than those of human drivers.
