Beyond our hardware products…
We embrace Software Defined Vehicles and safeguard against digital threats with passion and precision.
The automotive industry's future is increasingly shaped by software innovations, transforming how vehicles operate and interact with their environment. At Yaxon, we recognize the importance of software in this evolution. While our innovative hardware products lay a solid foundation, our software solutions are key to unlock the full potential of modern vehicles.
As off-the-shelf solution, we proudly offer advanced software products, including dual engine map and V2X protocol stack. Other than that our highly experienced security team ensures compliance with ISO 21434 standards, providing both robust product security and expert consulting services to our external customers.
Dual Engine Map
Our Vehicle + Cloud Dual-Engine Map software supports offline, hybrid, and online applications. Cost-effective and easily updatable, it extends to automotive applications like Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), Electronic Horizon Provider (EHP), Navigation, Dead Reckoning (DR) and Navigation On Autopilot (NOA). The NOA solution supports light map and data loop, while DR and navigation solutions are industrialized in multiple commercial vehicle models. With data from HERE and OSM maps, it operates in over 55 countries across Europe and Asia. The EHP solution, validated in over 100,000 heavy-duty trucks, saves up to 9% on fuel. ISA achieves over 95% precision in European road tests, exceeding the GSR's 90% requirement, with EU type approval available.
V2X Protocol Stack
Since 2019, we have been dedicated to advancing V2X technology innovation and product application, with a clear roadmap from R&D to industrialization. Collaborating with world-class partners, we have developed various V2X products, including V-BOX, 4G/5G-OBU, MEC servers and our V2X protocol stack. The V2X protocol stack is offered as a software solution, adaptable for customer-specified interfaces and hardware platforms and supports multi-hardware platforms and further development by customers. Our self-developed testing tools, HIL simulation benches and full-scenario simulations, along with real-world testing, ensure robust validation.
Cyber Security: Protecting Connected Vehicles
Modern vehicles are equipped with complex software systems that manage everything from infotainment to critical driving functions. This connectivity, while enhancing convenience and safety, also exposes vehicles to potential cyber threats. Cyberattacks can compromise vehicle control systems, endangering passengers and public safety. Protecting these systems is crucial to prevent data breaches, theft and unauthorized access.
Therefore, regulations, e.g. R155 / 156 and standards, e.g. ISO21434 enforce stringent security requirements, driving innovation and adoption of advanced cybersecurity technologies. Compliance ensures vehicles are resilient against cyber threats, protecting consumer data and safety. Consequently, these standards not only elevate the security posture of vehicles but also foster consumer trust and confidence in connected automotive technologies.
Yaxon, with our dedicated team responsible for security topics, ensures not only our own products are ISO21434 compliant but also helps our external partners in the industry develop secured and robust products.
